Accommodations
Woods Hole is a resort area and prices for housing accommodations fluctuate according to season. Arrangements for housing should be made well in advance of arrival. There are a number of properties in the Falmouth and Woods Hole area than can provide comfortable accommodations for those attending meetings at the Center. The list of preferred hotels for Academies staff and members is listed below:

Beach and Swimming
Participants may swim during the day from the Center's dock. Swimming is limited to participants in Jonsson Center activities only and is not permitted after 6:00 p.m.
Recreation
There are numerous public beaches in the Falmouth/Woods Hole area. Other forms of recreation in the area include boating, fishing, hiking, jogging, golf, tennis, water sports, horseback riding, and sightseeing. Good theatre is available featuring drama, live musicals, and films. In July and August, band concerts are performed at the Falmouth Marina on Thursday evenings. Information about recreation will be available at the Receptionist desk in the lobby.
