Research Interests
My research is in plant growth and development; the role of endogenous hormones in regulating flower and fruit formation; the structure and permeability of the plant cuticle; foliar penetration of organic compounds into plant leaves; cuticular penetration -- factors affecting and mechanisms of penetration of organic compounds (pesticides) through the plant cuticle; and hormonal control of flower and fruit formation in fruit production.
