Eugenie C. Scott to receive 2010 Public Welfare Medal
The National Academy of Sciences will present its most prestigious award, the Public Welfare Medal, to Dr. Eugenie C. Scott, executive director of the National Center for Science Education. Richard Lounsbery Award* (biology and medicine)
National Academy of Sciences Award in Chemical Sciences
National Academy of Sciences Award for Chemistry in Service to Society For a chemist working in industry.
National Academy of Sciences Award for the Industrial Application of Science
National Academy of Sciences Award for Initiatives in Research* (optical sciences) For citizens of the USA, preferably under the age of 35.
National Academy of Sciences Award for Molecular Biology* For citizens of the USA age 45 and younger.
National Academy of Sciences Award for Scientific Reviewing (economics)
National Academy of Sciences Public Welfare Medal
Troland Research Awards* (psychology: two awards) For researchers age 40 and younger.
