Restoration of Historic NAS Building on National Mall Begins 

On June 15, the NAS began a major restoration of its building at 2101 Constitution Ave., N.W. in Washington, D.C. The project will restore and improve the building's historic spaces, increase accessibility, and bring the building's aging infrastructure and facilities into the 21st century.

On Tuesday, October 12, join Tracy Hicks and Semiconductor, the artist duo Ruth Jarman and Joe Gerhardt, for a brown bag lunch discussion of their research at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History. The SARF program brings artists together with Smithsonian experts in a variety of disciplines to explore cross-disciplinary connections between history, art, culture, and science.
