Research Statement
My previous and current research project is study on prevalence and number of eneteropathogenic bacteria including ( Enteropathogenic Escherichia coli, Vibrio cholerae and Salmonella) from drinking water, street foods, edible ice and fresh vegetables in Jakarta, Indonesia. The study included molecular detection of virulence genes, genetic diversity analysis, antibiotic resistance assay as well as integron detection and characterization. The ongoing research project is Screening of bacteria from marine sediment for antibiofilm inhibitor activity against V. cholerae.
