Research Statement

Fuqiang Xu, PhDs in Chemistry & Physiology (1994 & 98), both from University of Kentucky; postdoctoral fellow, 1999-2001, Yale Medical School; 2002-2007, Associate Research Scientist, MRRC, Yale University; 2007-present, PI, Wuhan Institute of Physics and Mathematics, CAS. Dr. Xu has been working on the molecular mechanism of signal transduction, information coding and processing in the olfactory system. More recently, he has also been working on the neuroarchitectural basis for brain functional and diseases.
