Research Statement
My research interests include kinematic analysis and synthesis, design of mechanisms, parallel manipulators, reconfigurable parallel manipulators, and cable driven parallel robots. Currently, I am working on the development of a novel ankle rehabilitation device which will be able to give patients passive training. I am also involved in international collaboration research on the development of a cable driven parallel robot for search-and-rescue operation. I am interested in extending my research to compliance and deploy-able mechanisms.
