Research Statement

I study the evolution and structure of the Universe. By learning more about the details of how our Universe evolves, we learn more about the parameters which are the main drivers. This includes Hubble?s constant, gravity, dark matter, and dark energy. I design and build telescopes and instrumentation which I use to observe from high-altitude balloons and some of the highest peaks in northern Chile. I gather information about the Cosmic Microwave Background, early starburst galaxies, and clusters of galaxies.
