Research Interests
My research concerns the application of quantum field theory to problems in theoretical elementary particle physics. Topics include quantum anomalies, renormalization of quantum field theories, perturbative quantum chromodynamics (QCD), axions, nonperturbative applications of the large Nc expansion for QCD, dynamical symmetry breaking, electroweak fixed points, and the implications of a heavy top quark. Recently, my research has focused on the nature of the light quark limit and the role of quantum anomalies in the lattice field theory formulation of QCD and on nonperturbative estimates of QCD corrections to processes describing the weak decays of light mesons.
