Organic synthesis and organofluorine chemistry; rapid radiotracer synthesis with positron emitters; new applications of radiotracers to problems in biology and medicine; mechanistic studies relating to the development of radiotracers for PET; in vivo studies of neurotransmitter activity, enzyme activity neurodegeneration and drug mechanisms; monoamine oxidase; neuropharmacological actions of tobacco smoke; neurochemical changes in addictive disorders.
