Research Interests
My research emphasizes the study of the inheritance of quantitative traits in maize populations before and after selection; of recurrent selection methods for genetic enhancement of maize populations; of breeding methods used in developing inbred lines and hybrids; and of methods for adapting tropical maize germplasm sources to temperate environments.
