Research focuses on the regulation of the human immune response; disorders of suppressor and helper T lymphocytes in primary and secondary immunodeficiency diseases and leukemia; immunoglobulin and T cell receptor gene rearrangements in leukemia; the activation of T lymphocytes, especially the molecular biology protein structure and function of the interleukin-2 receptors and interleukin-15; and therapy of cancer with armed monoclonal antibodies.
