Research Interests

One area of research is molecular genetics of higher eukaryotes, specifically, transcriptional regulation of gene expression in vivo and in vitro, and the nuclear receptor superfamily (steroid hormone receptors, retinoid receptors, and other nuclear receptors). Another is mouse early embryogenesis and development, specifically, the role of nuclear receptors, particularly those involved in the retinoid signalling pathway. A third research area is aimed at establishing spatio-temporally controlled somatic mutagenesis in the mouse.
