Research Interests
My primary research interests are applications of analogs of hypothalamic hormones and other peptides for the treatment of hormone-dependent cancers. The main interest is focused on the development of new approaches to therapy of various tumors including prostatic, mammary, ovarian, endometrial, pancreatic, colorectal, and gastric cancer, osteosarcomas, renal carcinoma, brain tumors, and lung cancer. These approaches are based on the agonistic and antagonistic analogs of LH-RH, cytotoxic analogs of LH-RH, analogs of somatostatin, antagonistic analogs of bombesin/GRP and antagonistic analogs of GH-RH.
