Research Interests
My principal interests are the history of star formation and the formation of the chemical elements in stellar interiors by various processes of nucleosynthesis. In particular, I am spending the last years of my scientific career in the search for the earliest generations of stars in our Galaxy, revealed by the low content of the elements heavier than helium.
