Research Interests

I am interested in exploratory inorganic and organometallic chemical syntheses, reaction mechanisms, homogeneous catalysis, cluster species. Bioinorganic chemistry interests include liposome syntheses with boron-10 for neutron capture therapy of cancer, design and synthesis of new radionuclide complexes for antibody conjugation leading to cancer diagnosis and therapy, design and synthesis of mercurocarborand species suitable for host-guest interactions, and synthesis of supramolecular molecules (rods, rings and chains) based upon carborane skeletons and suitable for use as components in nanodevices and biomolecules.
