Research Statement
My research activities involve development of rehabilitation and assistive robotics, technologies for telerehabilitation, and systems for assessment of neuromuscular impairment. A current project called BLUE SABINO is aimed at developing a dual-arm exoskeleton instrument capable of capturing neuromuscular signals (EEG and EMG) and user biomechanics to enable more holistic comparisons between healthy and impaired users. The project is expected to enable a wide range of new scientific studies and insights on sources of arm impairment.
