Research Interests
My research focuses on the plant pathogenic genus of fungi, Phytophthora, biology, physiology, pathogenicity, taxonomy, origin of species, and control; diseases of avocado, macadamia, cacao, other tropical and subtropical crops; root diseases, soil fungicides, and chemotherapy; and collection of native Persea, Cinchona, and Theobroma throughout Latin America in search for disease resistance.
