Her achievements have been recognized as The Medal with Purple Ribbon, IUPAC Distinguished Women in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Awards, etc.
Research Interests
Dr. Kyoko Nozaki, is involved in development of homogeneous catalysis in the fields including polymerization catalysis, activation of carbon dioxide and organic transformations. Her work is characterized by a deep understanding and insight into mechanism and her careful approach has consistently delivered the most active, stereo-controlled, selective and well-characterized catalyst systems across multiple fields. Recently, she expanded her interest to heterogeneous catalysts is challenging polymer degradation toward closed-loop circle of carbon resources.
