Neal F. Lane

Neal Lane is currently professor of physics and astronomy emeritus, university professor emeritus, and senior fellow in science and technology policy at rice university’s baker institute for public policy; former director of the National Science Foundation (1993-98); former director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy (1998-2001); former provost of Rice University (1986-93); and former Chancellor of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (1984-86).
