Research Interests
I am interested in three primary areas of research. The first is mathematical programming, especially, optimization, integer programming, and combinatorics. The second is economics, especially models of international trade and detailed description of the functioning of firms and industries. The last is the functioning of science and technology, especially technology transfer, the relation between universities and industries, the role of federal and state governments, and the development and implementation of technology in industry.
