Biosketch

Subhash Khot is a Silver Professor of Computer Science at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University. Prior to joining NYU, he was on the faculty of Georgia Institute of Technology during 2004–2007. He has a Ph.D. from Princeton University in 2003 and B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in 1999.

Khot received the NSF Alan T. Waterman Award in 2010, the Rolf Nevanlinna Prize from the International Mathematical Union in 2014, and the MacArthur Fellowship in 2016. He was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society in 2017.

Research Interests

I am interested in Theoretical Computer Science and its connections to mathematics such as in combinatorics, analysis, and geometry.
