Astrophysicist and galaxy formation expert Risa Wechsler joins host Chris Duffy and an incredible panel of comedians for this science comedy game show!

Produced by LabX, a public engagement program at the National Academy of Sciences, Wrong Answers Only is science comedy game show featuring celebrity guests who play games and quizzes while learning about exciting research with the help of a scientific expert.

THE HOST

Chris Duffy is a comedian and writer who hosts the TED podcast How to be a Better Human. Chris wrote on both seasons of Wyatt Cenac’s Problem Areas on HBO, executive produced by John Oliver, and writes the popular weekly newsletter Bright Spots. Chris’ writing has been featured in The New Yorker, The Boston Globe, National Geographic Glimpse, Makeshift Magazine, and The California Sunday Magazine.

THE EXPERT

Risa Wechsler is the Director of the Kavli Institute for Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology at Stanford University where she studies galaxy formation and cosmic structure.

THE COMEDIANS

Josh Sharp is a writer and comedian who has been featured on HBO’s 2 Dope Queens, Comedy Central’s The Opposition with Jordan Klepper, and TruTV’s At Home With Amy Sedaris. Josh co-wrote and starred in A24’s Dicks: The Musical (2023).

Aparna Nancherla is a comedian and general silly billy. Her sense of humor is dry, existential, and absurd, with notes of uncalled-for whimsy. Think a wine you didn’t order. Her book, Unreliable Narrator: Me, Myself and Impostor Syndrome (Viking), was released on September 19, 2023. You can hear Aparna as the voice of Moon on Fox’s The Great North and Hollyhock on Netflix’s Bojack Horseman. You can watch her half-hour special on the second season of The Standups on Netflix, as well as appearances on Late Night with Stephen Colbert and Two Dope Queens on HBO.
