PNAS has partnered with the Lasker Foundation to shine a spotlight on this year’s Lasker Award recipients. This year’s recipients are Dirk Görlich and Steve McKnight (Basic Medical Research); Jesús Tito Gonzalez, Michael Welsh, and Paul Negulescu (Clinical Medical Research); and Lucy Shapiro (Special Achievement in Medical Science). Established in 1945 by Albert and Mary Lasker, these prestigious awards honor groundbreaking discoveries in biology and medicine that advance human health. Learn more here.
