PNAS has partnered with the Lasker Foundation to shine a spotlight on this year’s Lasker Award recipients. This year’s recipients are Emmanuel Mignot and Masashi Yanagisawa (Basic Medical Research); Kunihiro Hattori, Tomoyuki Igawa, and Takehisa Kitazawa (Clinical Medical Research); and Michael J. Fox (Public Service Award).
Established in 1945 by Albert and Mary Lasker, these prestigious awards honor groundbreaking discoveries in biology and medicine that advance human health.
